It isn't going to be changed. The electoral college is what keeps the election fair and give all states a voice. Fortunately the founders were smart and didn't want a large state dictating over the others. There is no way on knowing how many fraudulent votes were cast because a lot of states don't have voter ID. If I recall its only the 5th time in the history of the USA that this has happened. That is pretty good odds. Had Clinton won the electoral and Trump the popular, you'd have been fine with it. Get over it. I just read an article where protestors beat up a 15 year old kid wearing a Trump hat and the pathetic protestors were carrying signs saying Love Trumps Hate. Hypocrites. Then there is the guy that protestors pulled from his car and beat up and then stole his car. Yeah, so much love...... Stop. There are many horror stories on the other side. And you don't know what is going to happen with the electoral college. But - if someone grabs you by the p*ssy, it just may be YOUR president. Hi Ariel, I had to laugh at your last remark. I hope these days are over now that his infidelities are out in the open. Surely he would have the sense not to jeopardize his position, though it seems to be the done thing with so many men in the public eye. Where are their brains and what is the fascination? It says in the Bible that all secrets will be exposed eventually. Silly Boys.!!! It not only destroys their career but their families as well. They should think about that, causing so much heartache is not the way to go. For Sure.!!!

He even settled out of court, his sexual assault of Paula Jones. Things have changed over the years. The goal posts for what is considered sexual assault keeps changing.

I have never heard Bill Clinton talk about women like Donald Trump does, however, and I'm not a fan of Bill Clinton.

Rules? This was an abandoned house when I first came here. Hi Ariel, It puzzles me how you know all these things, but rules are rules no matter. I think out of courtesy we should pay heed to them. If you ever have a forum of your own you will know how difficult it is to run one and try to keep peace with everyone. Every mistake that I make I am aware that I make it more difficult for the person in charge, which is why I don't deliberately rock the boat. Think about it? I see so much hypocrisy on these boards, that it's hard for me to take this stuff seriously. I think people like to assert their autocracy, more than anything. I know that you tend to be obedient, Lassie.

I think we need to stop the personal remarks.
As the saying goes, 'attack the post not the poster.'
Sure, there will always be people we don't like or who don't like us; sometimes there are people we like who don't like us or people who like us that we don't like.
It's only vanity to expect everyone to like you.
So disagreement is welcome but when it starts to descend into personal insults it's not a good idea.
Sure, the occasional loss of temper is one thing; a systematic campaign of personal denigration is something else. And that is NOT acceptable on here.

Hi Big Lin, I will always try to obey the rules, though I'm probably not always successful. I like everything to run smoothly no matter what it is. Therefore I try on every occasion, to do my best to make it happen. Life is so much nicer, and isn't that what we all want when all is said and done?

I'm not sure if this is possible, Lassie. He's used to getting his way all the time, and I'm very skeptical that he will be able to be much of a negotiator. He is already appointing bigots into major cabinet offices.

Hi Ariel, I guess you would know. The only thing I know about American politics is when the President is chosen. Trump is the only one I know anything about and only because of his notoriety and the fact that he is on TV because of Miss Universe and You're Fired.

Hi Ariel, We will just have to wait and see, how things pan out. What do you think of the team he has chosen? Any decent ones in that lot? He has caused a furore in England by choosing Farage, so who knows how everything will go. We can only hope for the best.

And evidently doesn't know the first thing about what to do.I heard on the news that Hillary Clinton had now reached over 2 million votes more than Trump.

Of course Hillary continued to support the disasterous military intervention in Libya + Syria. That's what we call 'moving the goalposts,' Anna. Trump supported the Iraq war then he changed his mind. That's his right but it's dishonest of him to pretend that he was NEVER a supporter. There were witnesses who testify that Trump privately criticised these wars and he debated Sean Hannity, who was supportive of the wars. He avoided public condemnation of these wars because he feared it would only hurt the troops who were stuck in a done deal. He was mostly interested in his business empire at the time too.

Trump prefers to lie about his past.
He was rich and powerful enough to have come out publicly and opposed it.
Plenty of people did that during Vietnam.
Plenty of people in Britain did that during Iraq.
Trump did NOT. He publicly BACKED the wars.
Any fool can pretend they didn't agree about it.
Why do you find it so hard to accept that Trump is every bit as much of a scumbag as Hillary Clinton?
If I was American I'd probably (grudgingly and holding my nose) have slightly preferred to vote for him rather than her.
But both of them disgust me.
Neither of them is any kind of role model.

No disagreement here Lin. However, I think Trump is far more qualified to be President than Hillary ever was. Of course, I believe a businessman who has run large geographically dispersed corporations would almost always be a better choice than lawyers and politicians. I'm liking a couple of Trump's moves early on. Appointing the Exxon CEO as Secretary of State strikes me as a brilliant move. That's a man who has a ton of experience negotiating huge international deals. He's travelled the world, knows many of the international mover shakers personally, and is far more qualified than any Secretary of State we've had in recent memory. Another winning move was calling a meeting of the Silicon Valley high tech titans for today, Dec 14, in Trump Tower. Those guys are so important to our country and economy that a direct line of communications is just a great idea. Just wish I could be sitting in on that meeting! If Trump keeps making moves like these, he may turn out to be a great President.
