The trial against Jodi Arias in Arizona for alledgedly murdering her boy friend is winding down. She testified today. There is still speculation that she might get the death penalty after getting caught in a number of blatant lies claiming her boyfriend was murdered by intruders. Whether or not she's standing by her claims to self defense is not clear.
Even if this was a cold blooded murder, which the evidence appears to support, I think her charisma will have it's effect on the jury. She won an American Idol style contest in prison while awaiting trial. See video below.

I've been following this trial pretty closely.
What really bothers me about it.....is it seems a woman can cry abuse.....without any evidence and has a fairly decent chance of being believed.
The victim had no history of any type of domestic violence or any other violence....or even a bad temper.....she never made any reports.....or told any friends about it......but now suddenly he was controlling and she dropped his camera and he suddenly exploded and she had to kill him.........by stabbing him 27 times....(ten in the back) slitting his throat from ear to ear....and shooting him in the head.

I really wish I'd followed this trial now as it looks like an interesting one. Let's hope the jury can look at the evidence and past the personality of the accused. I am surprised that she testified, form the info i just read on this I think most commentators thought she would shoot herself in the foot if she did.

The prosecution is claiming that the alledged fact that Jodi Arias drove her car to meet Travis Alexander with the gun and the knife proves that the murder was premeditated. We'll see what Mrs. Arias has to say on this.

Miss Arias claims to have memory blackouts in Travis Alexander's killing. She doesn't remember stabbing him. She claims that Travis had an attack of rage when she dropped the camera while taking pictures of him in the shower and according to her he attacked her then.
The prosecution will soon start cross examining her!

The only information about Miss Arais' injuries that I'm aware of so far is the claim that one of her fingers was injured when she alledegedly tried to block a kick from Mr. Alexander. |

The jurors have been allowed to ask Miss Arias questions such asking her to describe her alledged history of memory loss. The prosecution's cross examination seemed to be fixated on overkill and I don't feel it was very effective.
