Never set yourself any goals, that way you will never fail at anything Many people seem to think that setting goals is the way to go, but I found out ages ago that it wasn't for me. I would lie in bed early in the morning . and plan my day, and guess what? for some reason things didn't happen as I had thought it would. I seemed to make one mistake after another. That happened a few times, so I stopped making plans and just did things as I felt impressed to do, and everything worked out fine from that moment on.

I do set goals, but I am flexible. If things don't go as planned than fair enough. Everything works out in the end.

Interesting, I am not a "planner" as such a just tend to do what I feel like more or less, I certainly don't plan may day really, not unless I have something particular to do, I don't do any "active planning" as such I know what needs to be done. As you say things can change anyway, worse case is you might get run over by a bus early on so all that time planning is wasted! I guess all my planning is done subconsciously really.
