Have we all got our popcorn, beers and bubbles ready for tonight's 3 ring circus? i was delighted to be ""out"" during the ahem,,debate... much more interesting listening to what ""real ""people were saying about politos than listening to the three blind mice three blind mice who would have been coached to the gills on body language blah blah blah the real people were very scathing about them all ;D anything so choreographed and without the ability of people to just throw questions was bound to have been a waste of time...a set up token gesture to kid peeps that democracy is in action and alive and well....and some thing that only reinforces what a myth democracy and free speach is in this country what happened to real polititians who stood among the people on boxes and gave the voter the chance to heckle and question.. in stead we have pretend slebs fightened of their own shadows and certainly frightened of the people...

New Labour learned their politics from Saatchi and Saatchi.
When I was a teenager it was still possible to believe that the Labour Party stood for SOMETHING - whether or not one agreed with it.
Nowadays the paucity of their ideas is showing through the thin veneer of gloss and they stand revealed, like Cameron and his acolytes, as would be Emperors without a stitch of verisimilitude between them.
Temperamentally I probably ought to vote for one of the fringe parties but reluctantly I've decided that the Lib Dems are the least bad of the available options.
That is NOT saying much - I find it impossible to enthuse over ANY of the shower on offer.

Anyone who wants to be a politician should automatically be barred from being so June, I'm surprised. Obviously the system would not resemble the corrupt edifice we have at present. You're almost as cynical as me
