That reminds me of how SCUM "Savior" has also HID from the survivors of the 9/11 victims after Charlie Sheen pleaded with him to just give him (Sheen) 20 minutes of his time. He didn't even have the COURTESY to ANSWER Sheen. Sheen...victims...I was confused about this so have had to google it and you mean the 9/11 conspiracy theory thing, right? Sheen wants Obama to admit that they weren't really planes that flew into the twin towers... I wouldn't want to meet Sheen if I was Obama either. The President of America doesn't have time to meet all the alien abductees in the country. It's really sad you use a cheap shot about alien abductions. Unfortunately, you get used to them as a 9/11 truther (I'm 1). An FYI, Sheen doesn't believe that planes didn't hit the Twin Towers. Please get your facts straight. An FYI: the 1's who believe that garbage are the 1's I HATE. There's a lot of infiltration in the 9/11 truth movement and the "no planers" are part of that, unfortunately. You're ignoring that it was the SURVIVORS of the 9/11 victims who pleaded with Sheen to use his influence. I'm a survivor of 2 murder victims (not connected to 9/11) and if anyone treats these survivors this rudely I have NO use for them. I don't care if they're president of the universe or hold NO office: it's rude and it's uncaring and UNACCEPTABLE. The least SCUM stooge Obama could have done was have the COURTESY to say to Sheen (even through a secretary, etc.) I don't want to meet with you. He couldn't even do that. ***#### the RUDE ****#####.

You might have more of a leg to stand on re. Trub's taking-the-piss 'alien abduction' remark if you weren't persistently calling Obama nasty names yourself. I don't see that it takes debate forward sensibly by calling him 'scum', do you?
Live by the sword and all that . . .

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone poll, taken Friday and Saturday nights, shows that 41% of likely voters favor the health care plan. Fifty-four percent (54%) are opposed. These figures have barely budged in recent months.
Another finding that has remained constant is that the intensity is stronger among those who oppose the plan. The latest findings include 26% who Strongly Favor the plan and 45% who Strongly Oppose it.
The partisan divide remains constant as well. Seventy-four percent (74%) of Democrats favor the plan, while 87% of Republicans are opposed. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 34% are in favor, and 59% are opposed.
Still, 50% of all voters say they’re less likely to vote this November to reelect a member of Congress who votes for the health care plan. Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe that if the plan passes, the cost of health care will go up. Only 17% believe the plan will achieve the stated goal of reducing the cost of care.
At the same time, most voters (54%) believe that passage of the plan will hurt the quality of care.
The Obama-Pelosi crowd have been determined to push through this unpopular plan despite majority opposition. They're 'big government' Democrats who think they know best. Hopefully we'll fix that problem this November.

I'm sincerely sorry that you have had such tragedy. I understand why it would anger you on that basis if survivors/relatives of 9/11 are snubbed by the Whitehouse. I happen to think that Sheen does not have the same motive as you for being angry at a perceivd snub. I happen to think he is being a bit egotistical in his handling of the whole affair and there must be other ways for him to meet Obama than youtubing. Surely that's not what survivors meant when they asked for his influence to be used? Surely they were expecting him to whisper in Obama's ear? I am ignorant of knowledge that survivors asked Sheen to represent them, that's true, I don't have that information. I'll be pleased to receive an FYI and a link or 2. Perhaps the survivors would have stood a bigger chance had they requested a meeting themselves. Obama has met with survivors; did they raise the point with him then?
Sheen's entire basis for the meeting demand, as far as I can see, is that he wants Obama to open a new inquiry to prove that it was an inside job done purely to justify middle east invasions and removal of constitutional freedoms. Hey, to be honest, I don't have a problem believing someone in government had those motives, I just have a problem believing the scale of such a plot and evil and cover up, and that it was done with such panache. The Bin Laden/ AQ dunnit theory is more bizarre, more do-able, and therefore more believable.
And as far as I can see, he has produced an open letter conveyed via youtube and media. (Rather rude in my opinion). I suppose Obama could send him a youtube message in reply; it might be polite, and funny, but really he is not obliged to. And really, imagine what a mess he would get into responding to everyone's youtube demands to meet up. I went on to youtube and typed Charlie into the search engine and got the Charlie bit my finger film instead. I love that darn Charlie. Perhaps Obama meant to reply by youtube and then, like me, got distracted - and then got perspective.
Where has Charlie Sheen been for the last decade? Was he too scared to pester Bush? It strikes me, reading through some of the points in Charlie's letter/ simulated interview, that (if you think along the same lines) the people you should be angry with are George Bush or Bill Clinton or Old Pa Bush because they are the ones implicated in the cover up. Personally, in the past I've enjoyed directing a bit of anger at Donald "keep elevating the threat" Rumsfeld. And I still enjoy a little fantasy shoe throwing at you-know-who.

Most of this bill doesn't kick in until 2013. That means the GOP has not one but two elections in which to get the votes they would need to repeal the act, although the new insurance provisions would go into effect just as the new Congress was being seated in January 2013. In short, it is at least possible that this debate over the Stalinization of healthcare will be ongoing for nearly three more years. At least there will be time for people to actually get familiar with what's coming and to learn that the bill does not include death panels, mandatory abortions, or the conscription of doctors, nurses, aides and techs into a National Healthcare Corps under which Americans will wait longer for healthcare than for peace in Iraq. OTOH, I look forward eagerly to the total nationalization of animal healthcare delivery. Animals are too dumb to make their own decisions and have to rely on their masters, whose interests may be in conflict with their own. Clemie Not convinced 'Stalinization' is the correct word; Stalin wasn't very big on healthcare iirc. Although he did seem to think very cold weather and hard work was a cure for dissidence. The "Stalin" bit was intended to be TIC, as was the animal care bit.

a few of the complaints that she has about obama are legitimate though. Are any of them mentioned in this thread? yeah unfortunately, obama does subscribe to the moronic notion of one world, instead of the reality that earth is composed of 195+ TOTALLY separate and distinct countries. he is also a fan of the imbecillic stupidity of talking to those that you should only be killing

had dumbya been reasonably intelligent, and had reasonably intelligent people around him, perhaps a case could be made. since the exact opposite is true, it is stupid to even consider such a scenario that could NEVER have any possiblity whatsoever of having occurred

Yeah, lol, I think it's all a bit kind to them myself.
They are guilty of the most cynical opportunism, though, and complete disregard for their citizens.
All this conspiracy talk merely distracts from their real crimes.
I'd believe Sheen more if was accusing of them of fuelling the 9/11 ''truthers'', it keeps the heat off them nicely.

By "one world", do you mean a version of United Nations and peace treaties galore. A global EU or America? A global USSR? Or do you mean the lizards? Hmm. The killing stuff hasn't been that cool so far. Talking might be just as effective or more pertinently just as ineffective? Only with less dead kids. And it's sort of the christian philosophy..you know...thou shalt not kill..and so on.

And it's sort of the christian philosophy..you know...thou shalt not kill..and so on. I've been against a 1 world government for years. A big reason for this is I'm a Christian and 1 world government is going to be unique to the anti-Christ. I want NO part of it EVER. MANY leaders in the world are FOR 1 world government, including Obama. This to me confirms what the Bible says about most people not even caring to know God, etc., and that most of the world system is evil. There ARE politicians who ARE against 1 world government and they have my support. I no longer vote for anyone who's part of any group who's for 1 world government, any kind of tyranny, etc. This is 1 reason I didn't vote for Obama.

There's at least a few reasons I hate Obama's guts and this veteran thing is 1 of them. If anyone on here is interested in the reasons I'll be glad to list them, post links, etc. However, I've looked up a few more things online and stand corrected on that what Obama did AFTER this issue came up wasn't as bad as I originally thought. He did make it right to a degree. However, I won't change my mind that to even CONSIDER such a thing as this was disgusting and wrong. I'm very glad he got blasted by the veterans, etc. He SHOULD have been. The LEAST the veterans deserve is free medical care for life.

Dear das, THANK YOU for having an open mind (unlike some on here). ;D He may well have an open mind but I thought I also saw his tongue in his cheek? ;D I'm open minded, Pumpkinette. Although, the day Bush was elected I wasn't wondering if a war would start under his leadership, I was wondering when. And I was torn between soon and very soon. Naturally, my main reaction on the day of 9/11 was like most other people's; shock, disbelief, horror... However, it also crossed my mind as I watched the news, quite forcefully crossed my mind, that this could be an inside job -- because what a blank page it would give the government to do as they liked! So I'm open to the idea. It's just that the facts don't really support the idea. If you want to show me the ''magic bullet'' of the case, the one clincher of the truther argument, I'll happily look at it with an open mind -- although, I will argue it with you because that's just one of my techniques for trying to understand something - hopefully draw out an argument from you that I can either eventually dismiss completely or no longer deny because it's undeniable!
