I was robbed but filing charges would victimize me more!

Without a car, I live in the city where I can walk to the grocery store and taxi a month's worth of food home.
And this works, but I got robbed by my cab driver this time.
She drove away with $100 worth of some of my food she decided to keep!
It was no accident.
And if I see her again I could get in trouble, because I'd sincerely like to smack her in the head with a can of beans!

POINT IS: Oh sure I could call the useless police, but it'd only take MORE OF my time and money, victimize me more!

(I'd still like to clap her in the head with that can of beans though.)

What do you think?  Look, I even picked a nice brand for her!

You don't expect a cab driver to rob you

Five years ago, we just had the three established cab companies we'd always had.

Then something changed, so now every jamoke is using their personal car as yet another cab company.
So we never know what we'll get, when we call a cab.

This incident has harmed me. I will be less willing to help others, think kindly, or talk to anyone at all.

People SUCK. Come asteroid come!
