Oh. I've been following this tale of Paper Fraud as it erupted at Harvard last summer. Of course my interest in a local Professor who hangs out there (she likes to walk in the Arboretum. It has lilacs ) causes me concern in this. So I'll add this article to my collection of pieces documenting the FRAUD of it all. Yeesh. We trust these folks with knowledge itself. And they give us a fraudulent understanding to have.. because expedience, chicanery and incompetence. OUR KNOWLEDGE ITSELF! (I think that's a big deal.) I had to tell ..her that she must be 100%, for her obligation to us, and for her safety! (for some reason her safety interests me. *puppy face*) for she could lose her tenure too! Perhaps the lesson for us is all people are human, and we MUST keep check on those we trust!

From the article, "there’s no institutional process to review papers". Really? That I did not know. So if my friend really is a bit wonky, mentally (I'd love her just the same) but if she actually IS publishing gibberish, no one would know, because no one checks??? Dang. That ain't right.
