It's like how nuclear power plants work. People assume it must be the most complexe science, requiring forty coffee-fueled Ensteins to even think of it! SCIENCE! But in the end, it's just about heating water! It's spinning a turbine to make electricity from magnets. 1800's technology. Now we try to recreate the reaction which is a star. Here, where we wouldn't WANT a temperature 1.21 jigowatts to potentially run away (phony baloney alert) Come back here! Ok, I'm no expert on this. But here's a helpful video:
How much is 1.21 gigawatts? A gigawatt is equal to one billion watts. The light bulbs in our homes are typically between 14 and 100 watts. So 1.21 gigawatts would power more than 10 million light bulbs or one fictional flux capacitor in a time-traveling DeLorean.

Oh, Hunny, it's lovely to hear from you again.
Afraid the site has gone very quiet - Jumbo and Anna have sadly died, Sadie had to become inactive after her son was injured in a car accident and a few other members just left or stopped posting.
You, my dear lovely friend, are always welcome and it's always a pleasure to see you!
Love and hugs!
Lin

Lin err you perhaps do not know that Hunny is a nicer smarter person than me, and I feel jealous and hateful. Gibby, I have no idea what happened on your forum but we have never had any problems with Hunny on our one. For what it is worth my wife is in agony at the moment with a popped rib which is why she has virtually disappeared. Please do not let any feuds you may have had on your forum spill over into others. Thank you. Mike

Oh dear, Are you any better yet, Lin? That must hurt like hell.
I do miss you Lin and Mike, think of you often and hope you are both doing okay?
Hunny is like a breath of fresh air, a truly lovely person.
