It's very sad that so-called Christians carry on like this.

I went through Catholic grade and high schools. I never saw any kind of sexual abuse. The physical abuse was rampant though. I saw kids punched in the face with fists. I was knocked flat by a priest. I made myself a promise that if I ever had children they would never see the inside of a Catholic school, I kept my promise.

people dont usually witness the sexual abuse as that is kept very much behind closed doors

These were basically Native American children (Indians) , that, with both governments (U.S. and Canada) blessing , were taken from their homes, put in Catholic AND Protestant schools, and kept there for one purpose......"to wipe the Indian heritage out of the kids".

They were whipped and reprimanded if they spoke their native language or wore their tribal clothing....not to mention the sexual abuse.

......not a pleasant memory of North American history.

There's perverts everywhere. Schools, churches, you name it. Since the pandemic I have gotten in the habit of watching church & the rosary from home on EWTN. It's just as peaceful.
