Very strong Winds & Heavy Torrential Rain here at the moment (Rhondda Valley; South Wales) Forecast to go on for most of the day, My Buddy over in Dublin (Southern Ireland) Just said it was *&%*&^ Wet !. Also on ABC-TV News (Australia) They are having very heavy Rain Across the east Coast, Well it will put out the Bush fires, Local people interviewed on ABC were very happy with the rain, even some with flooded homes .

I live in London so it wasn't too bad here; high winds and heavy rain and a near miss when an uprooted tree narrowly missed a taxi and a National Express coach.
in Scotland and Lancashire and West Yorkshire it was pretty bad. My parents and sister live in Leeds and the River Aire flooded and affected the centre of the city. Hebden Bridge, a few miles up the road, was flooded badly but it always gets badly hit by flooding.
Ciara has also been bad in the Isle of Wight and some other parts of the country.
Winds of up to 90 miles an hour in places are no joke. Loads of trains were cancelled and even some flights.
But so far no news of any fatalities, thank God.

Yes, it's mad and irresponsible. I've climbed quite a few mountains but ALWAYS with proper equipment and with safety being the PARAMOUNT concern. These morons are a danger to other people!

They Did Thank there Rescue Crew; But I Feel that a Mandatory "Charge" That is Legally Binding, Needs to be Introduced via Parliament In these Situations, Of Say at a starting Level of £1,000, With automatic Payment from Wages or Benefits. So as to Help people such as these Characters To Take Responsibility for there Idiotic Actions.
