That is no surprise to me as I have seen an Alien spacecraft during daylight hours so I know that they exist. They can do amazing things like disappear even whilst you are watching it.

People sometimes forget that UFO stands for 'unidentified flying object.'
By definition, 'unidentified' means 'identity not known.'
For what it is worth there are nearly twenty theories concerning the true 'identity' of UFOs.
Most have some plausibility but three are more plausible than others.
And no single theory can account for the range of phenomena.
People too readily jump to the 'extraterrestrial' hypothesis without sufficiently considering its difficulties.
I find it inconceivable that Earth is the only inhabited world in the universe.
But it is a long way from believing that extraterrestrial life is probable to believing that it is watching us or, even more dubiously, making contact with us.
Persinger and Lafreniere have pointed out the significance of earthquake patterns in connection with UFO sightings.
Paul Devereux has pointed out the significance of natural gas escaping from the earth (including a WITNESSED sighting of how the gas slowly transformed itself into a typical UFO shape.)
There is also what Carl Sagan has called 'the problem of traffic.' If all the UFO sightings reported really DID represent extraterrestrial activity Earth would be the equivalent of a giant megalopolis with constant tourism which is totally implausible.
There is also the fact that before Arnold's sighting in 1947 the typical shape of UFOs seen was NOT saucer-shaped. There is also the fact that the first UFO 'wave' began not long after Nazi rocket scientists recruited by Operation Paperclip arrived at White Sands and other sites.
I could go on but this post is already quite long!

I can also recommend (one among many excellent books on the subject)
The UFOs that Never Were - Jenny Randles, Andy Roberts and David Clarke.
Here is the 'blurb' for the book on Amazon.
In this UFO book, the authors comment on a series of incidents which turned out to be something very different than first imagined. Like true-life crime cases, they report the facts of each case, probe all aspects of it, interview witnesses, examine all possible explanations and come to a conclusion. The cases include the UFO which reportedly crashed into a reservoir whilst pursued by jet fighters, the alien photographed by police after a high-speed chase, the recent wave of UFO activity in Florida abd the infamous Roswell "crash" and "autopsy".

I didn't use the term UFO and I never will, because I know exactly what they are. I'm sick of people trying to explain them away as something else by their own standard of intelligence. They are an advanced species. They are mentioned in the Bible. The people then knew that they came from the stars and that was long before the Wright brothers.

Why do you assume that every post is directed at you? Mike's comment was in reply to Justbec's post. Was she offended? I don't think so. Why should you be? Mike didn't insult anyone; why do you feel you have some kind of right to patronise people and put them down because they dare to disagree with you. And neither you nor 'the people then' - whoever they might be - 'knew' that 'they came from the stars.' Especially since in the pre-Arnold days they were usually explained as being Gods or Angels. So get down off your high horse and learn a little humility. Just SAYING something doesn't make it true.

You really do need to STOP confusing your BELIEFS with FACTS. What you CLAIM to have been shown is DIFFERENT from what OTHER PEOPLE also CLAIM to have been shown. So how are normal, rational, open-minded human beings expected to distinguish between con artists, deluded maniacs and truth? Maybe it's time you offered some idea of what YOU think makes something true - other than the fact that you believe it.

I was not offended at all so no worries.. I am used to people trying to use logic and facts to baffle me when it comes to UFO's. I remain strong People dismiss the possibility of life on other planets visiting us because they think with human logic and human restrictions. They only see things as our science and physics will allow. I see other worlds as far more advanced, not bound by what we see as physically impossible. Just because we can't do something doesn't mean another lifeform out there in space can't.

Surely posts are there to be answered by anyone who wants to reply.!!! BTW who said they were offended. I said I was fed up of people trying to explain a genuine sighting as something else, even though the person knows what it is. I know a metal craft when I see one. First I saw it when it was full on, round and shining, then it turned on its side, so that it was no longer shining, but looked a grey metallic colour then it disappeared. This manoeuvre must be what it does when it disappears into the next finer plane.

So were the witnesses also travelling at superfast speed beneath the sea and then zooming out of the sea into the air?

By whom, exactly? What are their qualifications for making such a definite prediction about the 'intentions' of the aliens? And how do you know that your sources are not lying to you? Finally, if 'witnesses have seen them under the sea' does that not suggest that perhaps they are marine creatures native to earth rather than some exotic species from outer space?
