Lots of people buy guns but I don't think all of them take any formal training on how to use/handle/maintain the gun. They watch some tutorial on YouTube and they feel whatever they need to know has been learned. Do you think that people should get formal training in firearms safety before actually buying the guns???

Well I think if someone needs to be taught how to use a gun safely324 maybe they should not be using one in the first place.

A gun is a dangerous weapon and anyone who buys one should know how it works and how to use it properly. A three year old child know how a gun works, many have toy guns. So anyone who needs to be taught has the mental age of less than 3 years and you would not give a real gun to a 3 year old, training or not! I mean tying your own shoe laces is much more complicated than using a gun!!

Hi Kronks, surely a toy gun is not the same as a real gun, I am sure that the insides would be completely different.

More importantly, the effects of being shot by a toy gun are different from those of being shot by a real gun!
