This American Presidential Election season is shaping up to be a record setter for mud slinging.
The Democrats are going to be telling us all the things that are wrong with Donald Trump and why he should never be President. Their message won't be, "vote for Hillary," instead it will be, "Don't vote for Trump because he's awful." They're already starting to bombard us with examples to prove their point.
The Republicans are going to be telling us all the things that are wrong with Hillary Clinton and why she should never be President. Their message won't be, "vote for Trump," instead it will be, "Don't vote for Hillary because she's awful." They're already starting to bombard us with examples to prove their point.
Both sides have plenty of ammunition. Should be a good fight, probably a dirty fight.
When Reagan was elected President, he got 46% of the white vote and that carried him to victory. When Mitt Romney ran for President, he got 48% of the white vote and lost the election. The non white voting population carried Obama to victory. The non white voters will be an even bigger component in this election. California is now majority Latino.
Based on those demographics, Hillary should win. She's been catering to the blacks, Latinos, gays, and labor unions.
Trump might win anyway because so many voters are so fed up with Washington politics as usual. Many want a President who is strong willed and serious about making big changes. Trump is all of that.
The FBI's probe of Hillary's illegal email server and mishandling of top secret classified information could be the joker in this deck of cards. If she gets indicted what happens to her candidacy?
