'Facebook killer' claims self defense in wife's murder

I don't believe this loon and his self defense claim. He was 17-0 in an amateur boxing career and claims his 5 foot 10 inch wife was beating him up.

Well, leaving aside the 'innocent till proven guilty' business, I've had personal experience of a friend who was a battered husband. If it comes to that Mike was beaten up by a former girlfriend.

And even in terms of REPORTED domestic violence in Britain 40% of the REPORTED cases are by men accusing their female partners of DV.

Even in terms of domestic homicide in Britain 25% of it is female on male murder.

So don't believe the comfortable feminist lie that it's only men who are abusers and only women who are victims.

As for this particular case I'll wait and see.

But I certainly don't like rushing to judgement on cases like this simply on the basis of preconceptions about gender.
