no he's an idiot , can't take anything the man says seriously Hi Gibby, I do believe that he means what he says, but so do all the prospective politicians until they get into Office and find it is not as easy as they once thought. Everything has to be considered, and when you have the full picture of the conditions that prevail, then it is not so easy to fulfill all your promises. But apart from that, Donald Trump doesn't have the trait of diplomacy, which I think is always needed in politics. He is too brash to be able to bring people together.

Hi Bush Admirer, I hardly think that a person who is prone to insulting people would be much of a unifier, probably he would have the opposite effect.

So then, why is Donald Trump doing so well in the polls?
Could it be because he says what he really believes rather than what he thinks will get the most votes? That's called being honest with voters. I don't believe Clinton or Obama would score very high on this one.
Could it be because he is funding his own campaign and is, therefore, not beholding to powerful and monied lobbyists like the labor unions and the NRA?
Could it be that people are getting tired, really tired, of political correctness? Are we ready for someone who isn't afraid to say what we're all thinking?
Not saying I'd vote for him. Just finding his candidacy and polling results to be quite interesting.

The polls mean absolutely nothing ! people will be quite happy to say they are behind him in those but when it comes down to putting a cross in that box next to his name when they actually have to vote most will turn chicken shit and not do it !
