Dr. Axe exposes some of the scams in the vitamin + mineral supplement industry. Limestone is sometimes ground up and sold as a cheap calcium supplement. Not only is it cheap, but it's toxic + unhealthy too.

Synthethic vitamin B is in a crystal form which apparently doesn't have all the functions of natural vitamin B, such as binding and removing free radicals ( toxins ) from the body.

Too much is also not a good thing.

The soils have become vitamin and mineral depleted so its not a bad idea to use supplements.
