Big Phil Scolari has turned Chelsea from a team of winners into a team who play pretty football and can't defend.
We were AWFUL against Man U and I just can't believe how badly our season's turned around.
Sack Scolari - bring in Mark Hughes!

Perhaps they should look instead to a highly successful manager from a lower division - Andy Scott!

Well, the Brazilians obviously did. I'm more worried about the fact that my dark secret is out at last - my hubby's a Brentford supporter!

Big Phil has finally been sacked by Abramovich and even though it's probably too late to turn our season round at Chelsea at least whoever takes over should be able to keep us in fourth place at least so we can qualify for the Champions League.
My God, I never thought I'd feel nostalgic for Avram Grant!

In other news, Tony "ee-or" Adams has also been sacked. I don't know why these clubs don't have the nouse to realise that a manager needs several seasons before he can be properly judged. AH

I fail to understand soccer's popularity. Seems like an incredibly boring sport. The rules are screwed up (can't use your hands). There is a lot of running back and forth but hardly any scoring. Seems to be right there with shuffleboard in terms of excitement. No where near basketball, tennis, or cycling in terms of excitement.

Das, there is already a section on this board where you can post about US football.
Have you ever played soccer, by the way?
I've played soccer, cricket, rounders, baseball (more or less the same), basketball, netball (more or less the same), as well as boxing, karate and aikido. I was also a pretty good high jumper, long jumper and middle-distance runner and I'm pretty good at weightlifting as well!
Tennis and cycling are dead boring unless you're actually taking part in them.
As for US football, it looks like a bunch of fat wimps dressed in body armour shouting at each other and throwing the ball about with their hands and getting nowhere.
We have a game called rugby which is similar in many way to US football except that it's played without all the guys (and girls!) dressing up like mediaeval knights because they're such a bunch of wusses!
On the few occasions that US footballers play rugby players WITHOUT their armour, they get hammered!
