The 1967 Attack on the USS Liberty: War with Egypt ( !? )

On June 8, 1967 the surveillance ship the USS Liberty was attacked by Israeli planes with the knowledge of then president Johnson and the invisible rulers of the US. The plan was to sink the USS Liberty and kill everyone who survived blaiming Nassar's Egypt for the attack and enter the armed conflict on Israeli's side. The plan failed because the USS Liberty crew managed to rebuild a communications antenna that the Israeli planes shot off as their first act of agression and sent a distress signal. President Johnson personally ordered the responding US planes to return to their base and ignore the USS Liberty's distress signal, but the traitor LBJ's command was ignored and the USS Liberty was rescued save for 34 crewmen killed.

A huge failure for those who still wish to start a major war with the Muslim world.

Anna - that' a rather bizarre and unsubstantiated version of the USS Liberty attack. I doubt the veracity of your source.

The idea that this was a plan hatched between LBJ and Israel sounds like a loopy conspiracy theory to me.
