Another Amanda Knox film will be made with Kate Beckinsale playing the role of a journalist trying to get the facts in the case. Cara Delevingne will play the role of one of Amanda Knox's three sisters Deanna ( www.bazaardaily.co.uk/2013/11/03/cara-delevingne-play-amanda-knoxs-sister-deanna-new-biopic/ ). Amanda has 3 sisters.
So far it seems the names of the actresses for Meredith Kercher, Raffaelle Sollecito and Amanda Knox haven't been revealed or perhaps these roles haven't been filled yet.
The film will allegedly be based on Amanda Knox's book "Waiting to be Heard" and the discredited book "Angel Face" by Barbie Latza Nadeau, which parrots a lot of the tabloid hype and false claims that got Knox convicted. I hope there will be a fair presentation in the movie.

Why is all the attention on Knox rather than on Meredith Kercher?
She was cruelly murdered and even if Amanda Knox didn't kill her - and I think she DID - a bit of time in jail is hardly the same as being murdered.
Not once has this narcissistic, self-obsessed girl shown the SLIGHTEST degree of empathy or grief over the murder of Meredith.
I hope the film at least portrays her as the cold, egotistical and selfish bitch she is!

Dearest Lin, I agree that the victims of murder are usually neglected and the name and face of the murderer sadly becomes the name and face that people put first in their minds. We see this with the films made about serial killers like b*ndy, g@cy, etc.. I have always protested this tendency. I protest it in this case too! The lone murderer r*dy g*ede cut some kind of deal with prosecutor Mignini to jump on his bandwagon in return for a lighter sentence. This monster is even being treated as a duped victim and he ( it ) plays the role well. His dna ( and no one elses ) was all over the crime scene and in Meredith's body after he violently raped her. This case is very similar to the Katie Autry murder in Tennessee case where the lone murderer was given a deal by the prosecution to incriminate an innocent man, whose dna was also not present nor any physical evidence whatsoever.
As for Miss Knox? I too, like Amanda studied in foreign countries. I too have blue eyes and people have admitted to me that this makes me look ( to them ) cold hearted. "An angel with eyes of ice"? I too don't like to show grief for a lost loved one in public. I consider to be a private union with that beloved person and not a spectacle for others. Amanda desires to visit Amanda's grave too like Raffaele did recently.
You were a member of a street wise group or "gang" and you knew better than to trust the police, who like Mignini's investigators would have had no scruples about framing you or a member of your group for a crime that you were innocent of. Miss Knox like me was rather naive about this and was raised to believe that the police were our servants and trying to be helpful. She naively allowed herself to be brutally interrogated for hours, while all the other students in the home that Meredith and Amanda shared quickly got lawyers after Mignini's interrogators tried to link them with the crime. Amanda naively thought this was a misunderstanding that she could clear up. She was of course very wrong and naive. Her confused statements placing Patrick Lumumba ( which the investigators pressured her to say ) at the scene, which she immediately retracted got this madness started.
Of course you can't relate to this because of your past. You were never insulated and surrounded by people who loved and cared for you.
You knew you could expect discrimination and deceitful set ups from the police. Amanda didn't.
