Researchers will unveil the world's first lab-grown burger in London later today. It has been grown from stem cells taken from a dead cow. BBC News has had exclusive access to the laboratory in the Netherlands, where the artificial meat was produced. I found it interesting that the people that tried it.....called the flavor "intense".........now....what does that mean....other then "yuck"

I really don't like hamburgers. As a rule they're full of fat and anything else that the butcher wished to dispose of and that people wouldn't eat voluntarily. I knew a butcher and he warned me about hamburger. It's always old meat mixed with carcinogenic chemicals to restore the redness.
I don't consider hot dogs and hamburgers to be "all American dishes", but rather an example of how the meat industry's advertizement triumphed by making this claim and got people to eat stuff that they never would have voluntarily eaten. Imagine someone offering this fast food junk to George Washington or Thomas Jefferson!
All American dishes are the turkey, potatoes, corn on the cob, pumpkins, etc..
As far as growing meat cells to make burgers goes?? Maybe it's actually less disgusting than these fat and grisle infested burgers people are wolfing down now, but I'll pass.
