For Daniel Metzgar, the problem was that his penis was always getting in the way. An imperfect penile implant left the 44-year-old with an erection that wouldn't deflate … for eight months, according to a malpractice lawsuit being heard in a Delaware court. Wherever the New Jersey truck driver went, his condition got in the way, said Metzgar's attorney, Michael C. Heyden. Retrieving the morning newspaper became a problem. So was riding his motorcycle. Family events presented embarrassing situations because, as Heyden put it: "Dan is stuck in this position." Ok.....that sentence in there that "his situation caused him to shrink from life"......was funny!!
But there is a part of the story that the doctor told him at four months that the....the.....the.....ok implant....(phew) had to be removed because of infection and he didn't do anything for several months..........

I can't help wondering why it's funny when something like this happens to a man.
Do we laugh at women whose breast implants go wrong?
Do we laugh at women who've suffered genital mutilation?
Unless we've got hearts of stone we don't and I think men deserve the same respect as fellow human beings for what they suffer as we women deserve.
We're both human beings and I feel sorry for this poor guy for what happened to him.

I can definitely feel sorry for the guy.....but seriously.....if he waited months after being told there was an infection.....that was ridiculous...........

That's the deal with a lot of men......they practically won't go to the doctor until their arm falls off......but they are usually a little paranoid about anything having to do with their manhood.........if this was so embarrassing, painful, etc......why would he not have had it taken care of immediately!!!
