can only choose one! I went for Indian, even though I love pizza , if I wanted a really good take away meal rather than one I made at home it would have to be Indian,

There is an excellent Indian restaurant near to us which does good takeaways. I love fish and chips but the great thing about Indian is that any left-overs can be re-heated for the next day.
So sadly I shall also have to relegate the chippy to an also ran, at least so far as my vote goes.

I chose 'other' as mine was not listed. My 'favorite' take away meal is from Hardees... their 1/3 Lb. Memphis BBQ Thickburger (100% Black Angus Beef Thickburger, Pulled Pork, BBQ Sauce, Crispy Onion Strings all on a Seeded Bun). It is sooo good!!

I see that "Greek" is on the list. I've never come across a Greek takeaway in England; Greek restaurants are not all that common.
Thai is popular though; there are probably more of these than Mexican restaurants. There is a sushi bar near where Mr Lark works, but nothing outside to explain what you can buy there, and he has never got round to walking in to find out.

I like PF Changs for upscale Chinese Food. Excellent takeout. ww.pfchangs.com/ My favorites are the lettuce wraps, the Mongolian Beef, and the pork pot stickers (fried).
For a good pizza, you have to go to Italy. American chain pizza joints do not know how to make a decent pizza. "Mediocre" would be the highest complement one could ever give to Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and the like.
Burgers are better at the chain joints. Smash Burger makes a decent cheese burger.

I am thinking of trying Indian food soon. (It's not all that common here, but it is available) Could one of you who says it's great takeaway tell me what to order, and what it is?
