Dagmar Krause - who sings on this - is my favourite singer. I can't work out what time sig this is in, but the drummer is mostly playing 2 or4/4.)
(The Fall have changed it to a straight 4/4, and cut a lot of the words. Though the melody is more or less the same.)

Your mention of Britney Spears reminded me of this:
(Note the way he turns the melody into a kind of reel towards the end (2.36): he was a fan of Jimmy Shand.)
(I like britney, though: even at her lowest she was still producing some great music (I don't know how much she really had to do with it, though. But no: why shouldn't she have been? Dylan produced some good stuff when he was low, and so did Mark E Smith. So - good on Britney.)
