I came across them the other day! Youtube seems to have good days/bad days, beth.
Here's one more........ more like Ian Paice than John Bonham!

Well, there's nothing wrong with Ian Paice. A definite compliment, IMO. Here's another still. I gather, from the remarks, these were made last summer. Any idea what's going on with them currently?

lol DLR Invalidating any claims of good taste. That's OK. I spent considerable quality time in the la-la '80s.

I know that somewhere, pages and pages back, there was a modest Robin Trower fest in the Vault. Hope I'm not duplicating with this one.

lolol touche I think we've posted most of the good I knew about and, then some, because you knew more than I did. U.S. music from the vinyl era is teetering on the edge of southern rock and country - so, to me, English pop is preferable. So . . . it was Allman Bros or Go West. I know you'd have picked the former, but there are times I'd rather go west as go south. I'm sure there must be a few more gems out there. In the mean time - If I get an earworm from this you'll hear the screams.

Here's a quartet that used to feature in the Goon Show on the radio in the 50's and 60's. They were led by Ray Ellington (drums).
They had a dynamite keys man by the name of Dick Katz.
Go to 6:38 for the tune and dig the amazing chord progression at 7:56.... knockout.

Interesting, Fret. Never heard that one before. This is an oldie and the video portion is uneven and choppy - but it IS Paris in April (Montmartre)
