Well, based only on what you've posted I can only say that the bloke seems like he's a few biscuits short of the packet but in my experience that's not unusual with security guards.
But even though there's masses of stuff I don't like about America comparing it with Iran is a bit over the top I reckon.
Sure, the religious right would love to turn it into a Christian version of Iran but ther'e not nver going to get their way.
And a random nut who can't control himself killing someone is a long way off stoning women to death for adultery or stuff like that what goes on in Iran.
So I'd say that was a bit out of order to be honest.

So I'd say that was a bit out of order to be honest. I don't see a difference between stoning a woman to death for one thing, or shooting her to death in front of her kids for another thing. Perhaps what you missed here is that this happened in Texas. In Texas, it's legal to shoot someone in the back as they run off, for stealing from you, and it doesnt matter if it was only a pencil. You have the right to shoot people for stealing. I think that does compare. This woman committed a minor case of shoplifting, and for that was executed without a trial in front of her children for godssakes. And I think this is a big deal because it wasn't a murderer, it was a representative of the law... who may just get away with a "just doing his job".
