Well, now that was fascinating. Thank you B.A.! I truly like to see such informative relevant stuff. Wow, and the world sure is changing! It's a good thing I've been keeping up with the changes or I'd TRULY be left behind; though I must say, blink and you'll miss a lot it seems! (things are moving SO fast and far...) Couple things (and I honestly hope I'm not just being annoying)... This is an excellent picture of the economy (below). Really let's you stand back and see where we are (ie, look at the three major depressions including the one we're now in). But QUESTION: Why are we collecting so little revenue when the GDP is SO far up and obviously the country (well, just the rich people, not the PEOPLE) are making way more than ever!!!? Why is that? (I did kind of get the impression as I watched this of an economy where y'all get your shirts washed and your shopping done by people who used to be the middle class, and that ain't a right thing at all) But now this picture (below)...is bull***t. It just is. ALL the shortfall, notice, happens in projected time (none has occurred so none is documentable or existent!) There are those who've told me over and over "this is really how it is", and I still WON'T believe it. It's NOT that Social Security is a "flawed system"; it's that politicians robbed the fund and rather than pay back what they've been taking for so many years now, they wish to just LIE TO US that they didn't steal it, it just isn't there because the system is flawed. BULL***T!
Put it back! It was OUR money!!! (grrrr..)Oh, and as for the increased dependance on food stamps and welfare in this country, that stems directly from the fact that the rich people sold our jobs AND deflated the minimum wage to WAY under poverty level), and did other things to make money bogusly. Alright, having said those annoying things (sorry), I also get the idea, from this presentation, that we really ought to be on the brink of a total boom now! Would you agree?
