I have a Huge Number of "Favourites" But one of the Top Ones is "You'll Never Walk Alone" That also just happens to be the Official Anthem of "Liverpool Football Club"

Thanks for posting Deyana. The old songs like that are so much better than the current generation crap. Just have to agree, , As I grew up in the 50s and 60s I have a Lot of oldies still kicking about, For Example, From the Summer I Left School, 1967 !

When it comes to great music videos i keep coming back to The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
I loved that old spagetti western movie and the theme song. I especially love this performance by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. Turn up the sound and watch full screen.

I prefer the old Chelsea anthem, Blue is the Colour.
And as a Brentford supporter I have to post my club's theme song:

DAS (formerly BushAdmirer), Hey. I agree with you. I like the old songs much more than the new songs. What the call oldies not to mention classics, traditional jazz, the blues. torch songs, show tunes. I also grew up on classical music and opera. [(My father was a music teacher, conductor, performer (the trumpet)] Myself I played french for 15 years. Also played bass guitar. My husband is also a musician though not by vocation now. I do not close me ears. I give the new music a try. But very little appeals to me. dey has opened my mind to country music...a huge favorite of hers.

When I was a kid growing up from about age 12 to 16 we lived in Los Angeles. The five star Statler Hotel there had a ballroom with top drawer live entertainment. They served dinner in the ballroom. My grandfather was a veterinarian with a good income. He loved great music and was often taking me and other family members to the Statler for dinner and entertainment. There was also a dance floor. This was big band entertainment backing up some of the best singers of that time. Grandfather had a table up close to the stage where entertainers like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr. etc. performed. I loved that music. Still do. The Statler was the largest hotel built in America since the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. It hosted the Dodgers when they moved from Brooklyn, a Democratic National Convention, movie stars, and countless celebrities. It was the place to be in the 1950s. Demolished now I'm sad to say.

DAS (formerly BushAdmirer) , I love this type of music. I grew up on it in my home. My father was a music teacher his whole career and his brother was a professional tenor sax player. So nice to meet a like minded person. Btw...what a great way for you to grow up. What great memories you must have.

deyana Absolutely. I have the Oscars on in the background and Billie English just rolled up looking Billie English but one step more. "Billie was announced as a last-minute surprise performer, and there's still no confirmed information about what song she'll be singing. How! Ev! Er! Despite fans speculating that she'd be performing the new James Bond theme song for the first time, it looks like she'll be singing a cover for the show's In Memoriam. “Honored to be performing during the in memoriam segment for the Oscars tonight covering a song I’ve always loved," Billie wrote on Instagram shortly before the show. "Watch with us.”.

andie, the name is " Eilish". A bit unusual.

I hated not having hosts yet again. Not very fond of the acts as well. I am a film nerd from way back. The Oscars are a semi-holiday for me. They should be well done. One can get temporary color that lasts 15-18 shampoos including that bright green she was sporting. ($18) I can say categorically that I will never wear that color...not even temporally unless I lose a bet.

It is a nice song but I don't remember it. However, I grew up in the same time frame. One of my favorites from the 1950's was Short Shorts
