SL, I am happy I gave you a laugh. I really do not know why he ate and drank so much. In retrospect it really is a very funny story. Not what I expected. I have told it to others. They also thought it was pretty funny. There had to be a reason and I gave two alternative explanations. He did seem to be in a bit of a state.LOL. |

The music was by Leonard Bernstein & David Newman. I think Bernstein was brilliant. I know some people think some of of is rather absurd...gangs breaking out into dance...in this update of Romeo & Juliet but that has never bothered me. |

I think because it was a little different that this musical has stood the test of time. A true classic |
