I couldn't belive what I was seeing. Is it just me?

The training officer in my first job - an elderly gentleman - had a direct phone line that was similar to that of a local dentist. One day his phone rang and (although I could only hear one side of it) a woman at the other end said "I've got terrible toothache! Can you see me today?"

My colleague replied gravely "Well, madam, we are a newspaper office and this isn't something we normally do. But we don't like to let the public down, so if you care to come in we will rig something up using a length of string and the door handle."

The caller said she laughed so much her toothache went.

I was horrified to see someone tie a string to a child's face and pull it with a truck. Teeth sometimes have twisted roots. If hers had been, she'd have been seriously injured.

No. It was real.
The southeast of the United States has people with very little money to get by on, so they're really good at "doing things themselves". And they do some strange things, manufacturing items they need out of junk, instead of buying them (I've seen a barbecue made out of an old toilet (ew), a car door made of roof material, a car with an air conditioner from a house sticking out the window, a motorcycle frame made entirely of wood, a lot of weird stuff like that they do. They call themselves "red necks". They speak with a southern drawl, and they do this stuff.

You gotta' give them credit for the ingenuity though.

I would guess it was pretty loose......kids lose their baby teeth all the time....think they were just trying to make it funny......don't see a huge deal about it.....

What I did find disturbing was all the caps she appeared to already have.....which makes me think dental care is not high on the priority list to begin with

I actually saw the episode about this guy.....and others like him.....the majority seem unable to have regular relationships.........and it's just easier for them to be in control and feel safe with these dolls.......there was one guy that had several of them and liked to "mix" it up......I guess......there was a couple that had one and it was their way of having a threesome............guess that way there wasn't any jealousy issues......unless the hubby started asking you to stay "really still"...........ewwwwww

the banana and psp is bullshit on its face.
pulling the tooth is real. it's simple, and the string costs about a dime, and is reusable. there are no problems associated with it.
the doll trip is real. of course, any fool that spend seven grand on a doll is an idiot.

Yeah.......definitely a little creepy.......makes you want to ask what they do for a living.......if any of them work at a funeral home I would really avoid using their services!!!!
