Andy Murray won his first Grand Slam event....the U.S. Open!!!!

It was an awesome 5 set game against Novak Djokovic!!! Windy conditions seemed to favor him......but it was an absolutely game!!!

Sean Connery, fellow Scot, was in the crowd!! Would have been horrible to let him down!!!

First Grand Slam Win for an Englishman since 1936!!!!

Yeah, it was great to see Andy finally emerge and turn his talent into success. I think reaching the Wimbledon final was a huge boost to his confidence and even though he choked against Federer it seemed to lift him. Then when he won the Olympic Gold it seemed to fill him with new confidence and he played as we all know he CAN but too often DOESN'T against Djokovic.

Come on, Andy! We know you've got it in you; you're officially a winner now so let's have some more of the same, please!
