Do I really have to read the Daily Wail?
It's two faced and hypocritical, and that's just saying nice things about it.

It sounds a bit fishy to me. All they have is the unspecific word of possibly over-eager trainees making assumptions. I'm surprised arrests were made before an investigation. For all we know these three workers could be innocent.
I don't trust the 'snitch system' associated with elderly care - people are given authority and encouragement to "make reports" as if everybody in the world ought to be deputized, but I've personally seen that go haywire because you don't just give authority like that to absolutely everybody and anybody. Not all are fit to make proper judgement calls. And once one has pointed a finger - in America at least - the fact that it's "guilty even if proven innocent" takes over, and genuine hard-working people get royally screwed. I've seen it. It's bad.
It's not that I wouldn't be appropriately appalled and sympathetic if abuse really did go on, but -aside from my mistrust of the snitch system- there's also that this article offered no specifics, just a lot of generality. So I don't know what I'm supposed to be appalled about. One vague witness contradicted herself. I get the feeling the piece might just be "pumped up", to sell papers. They ought to just show the film. There's always a film. Let what actually happened do the speaking.
