Hard to fit so many animals into a ship that size. The cubit is a traditional unit of length, based on the length of the forearm. Cubits of various lengths were employed in many parts of the world in Antiquity, in the Middle Ages and into Early Modern Times. Approximate cubit length = 20.5 CM.

The Quran alledgedly gives the exact location of Noah's arc, while the Bible refers to the Arahat mountains in general.

Then of course there's the theory - put forward by a couple of British writers - that the Ark actually landed in Scotland at a place called Bogie, Top o'Noth, in Aberdeenshire! Och, after a few notions of the creature the idea grows on you!

I think there are probably a lot of old ships/boats/arks out there buried somewhere.....how you identify that it is "The Ark" is probably tougher than finding the thing.

I am not certain what your final sentence means, Skitler, but once again I must remind you to read our rules and to follow them. In answer to your question - which I am beginning to doubt the seriousness of - I forget the name of one of the two British writers mentioned but one is definitely Comyns Beaumont.

Years ago, I and a friend went to hear Dr. Wyatt speak about this and other biblical finds of his, Sorry to say we left feeling he was a charlatan.
