uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/article/72100/Horse flings jockey over railings Wed Oct 12 03:33PM A horse called Here Comes Frazier appeared to be headed for a big win in a US race when an unusual mishap occurred. The Julien Leparoux-ridden horse was in the lead coming down the home stretch of the 'Bourbon Stakes' at the Keeneland race track in Kentucky when Leparoux was suddenly thrown from the saddle and launched over the railings by the side of the track. The horse moved to avoid Leparoux's whip and the jockey felt the full brunt of the sudden movement as he was flung to the ground. Leparoux suffered only minor injuries to his wrist and fingers but the horse suffered multiple fractures in its hock and will never race again. The $150,000 stakes race was won by a horse named Animal Spirits. Watch the incredible scene in the video below.
