This is a timely reminder that, in spite of all the hysterical, egotistical and dishonest postruing of Knox and Sollecito, what happened in Perugia was that a lovely lady called Meredith Kercher was brutally raped and murdered.

I hope you don't mind me leaving a tribute. I never knew Meredith but she came across as a lovely, decent person.

What happened to her was despicable.

I know what it is to be a murder victim survivor. When I was 16 a friend of mine was brutally murdered.

My heart goes out to the Kercher family especially on this difficult day.
