He may have just been beaten by Serbian world number one Novak Djokovic at the US Open earlier this month, but Rafael Nadal is still a winner when it comes to underwear modelling.

The 25-year-old Spanish tennis player displays his impressive torso as he strips down to his Armani underwear in a brand new campaign.

One of the black and white images show the world number two player posing in the dark underwear while holding a dark leather jacket.

Another image shows the star lying on a wooden floor in the Armani shorts, showing off his pumped up muscles.

Nadal has joined a select group of prestigious sports stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham, who model for the Italian fashion house.

Earlier this year, the Spaniard, who also came runner up at the Wimbledon tennis championships this year, said his new modelling sideline had been a positive influence.
