There are so many foods that have been taken off the market that were really good. Why don't these companies bring them back? Here's some of the things I miss:
Marathon Candy Bars (remember these braided caramel chocolate bars from the 70s?)
Pepsi Lite (Diet Pepsi with a splash of lemon)
Royal Crown Sour Cherry Drops
Keebler Grasshopper cookies (mint and chocolate)

I went onto the Pepsi website to see if the pepsi jazz was still available, and it still is...though with limited market availability. If you enter your zip code in the link below, it will tell you were you can still buy pepsi jazz caramel cream. I entered my zip code and there were a few stores that still carry it. I'll be happy to ship it to you if a zip code search shows nothing in your area. www.pepsiproductfacts.com/storelocator/index600.html

I have seen Ovalteen in my grocery store as recently as a few weeks ago...it comes in a big can. My Dad used to love Ovalteen. I remember one day when I was a kid he brought some home as a "special treat." He told me that when he was a child, he was too poor to be able to buy Ovalteen for a dime after ice skating. So, he made some for me and...it was just OK. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I preferred regular hot chocolate.

Does anyone remember tuna twist from the 70's? I miss it and loved it! You mixed it into tuna and I haven't found anything that tastes like it since.

It probably did have some lemon flavoring in it. Lemon's great with tuna.

Thanks, Laura. This is a great link. As soon as I saw it, I knew what I was going to check for - all those cake mix flavors that are no longer available at the grocery. Things like - french vanilla and lemon supreme and (sigh) orange supreme from which the luscious harvey wallbanger cake is made. And, happy day, there they ARE. A tad pricey but worth it. Also, blackberry flavored gelatin. Happy day!!!

There's nothing on there I want enough to order, at least not yet... ;D

There's nothing on there I want enough to order, at least not yet... ;D I haven't yet, Laura, but plan to soon. My first order will be for at least a half dozen of the DH Orange Supreme cale mixes. I need to ask a couple more friends if they'd like me to include some for them, then I'll order. These are not obscure products but flavors Duncan Hines has pulled from our particular market. The orange flavor is very good - not artificial tasting - and works well with cream cheese frosting. Here's a list of recipes using this cake mix. yum! www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/cat/759/
