Italy’s just a short flight away from the UK, and having the cast closer would give us even more excuse to fist pump incoherently 22 hours a day whilst drinking shots and brawling with our friends. Not that we need one. But apparently the fine people of Italia have no appreciation for the excellence of our favourite bit of gossiptastic telly and have shoved a very large spanner in the works. It seems the locals in the area that was being scouted have no interest in being the latest Jersey Shore location. Bars and clubs have even united to say that they won’t allow the cast in to film (have they considered the drinks bill they’ll be missing out on?). Maybe they're not fans of celeb marriage... As if this wasn’t bad enough, the show’s stars are said to still be at loggerheads with producers over how much they should be paid. Many haven’t even signed their contracts yet, leaving Jersey Shore's entire future up in the air. Are we the only ones who want to see these tanned muscly, gods and goddesses back on our screens next year? Maybe we could host the programme over here. Literally over here. In heat towers. What do you think guys?
