What would be some of the things you would want to get done before you "kicked the bucket"?
One of mine:
Skydiving
I've gone parasailing and bungee jumping........but not the other one yet.

Sadie, the sense of adventure is lost when you do it my way, booking into cosy guest houses on the way and getting someone else to carry a bag.
And sometimes we cheat by splitting a long walk into sections - a bit like Bill Bryon doing the Appalachian Trail as told in "A Walk in the Woods." Except that he took all his camping gear with him!
So perhpas I should say "trekking to Everest base camp" or "walking up Mount Kilimanjaro".

Oh.....yes......I'm not the outdoorsy type. My idea of roughing it would be a Motel 6. I need hot and cold water, a bed and to be warm. I wouldn't mind the walking/hiking for quite awhile....but at the end of the day.....those comforts and possibly a massage would be mandatory.

Think I may have to reconsider and take Egypt off my list for awhile, huh?
I did accomplish one of the things on my list.......I have always wanted a convertible. I bought one this week. It's adorable. Of course it started snowing yesterday. Isn't that just how it always works!!! Bet hey....this summer will be great!!!

I know someone who went to Egypt many years ago when trouble was brewing and tourists were advised to stay away. She had the rare opportunity to see the Pyramids without a foreground of thronging masses. She asked her guide why there was miles of empty concrete and was told "Oh, that is the coach park"
