North KoreaNorth Korea threatens "holy war' using nuclear deterrent. Why is there always (posturing or not) at least one country in the world that is a total basket case?

The leaders are the real basket cases.

Do you ever listen to the comedian Lewis Black? He says that every time you see pictures of North Korea they are in black and white. He says that is how you tell a country is evil........they have no color. He always cracks me up.
So......because he has nuclear weapons......that makes it holy........well......it will make great big holes.....that is for sure........does he realize how close his country is? That maybe some of that fallout may drift? Oh well......his people are starving and he doesn't seem to care about that either...........

I recently saw a photograph taken from the space station (I think). I've been trying to find it again, without success, but to cut a long story short, it was taken at night and showed the Korean peninsular. South Korea was shown as a blaze of light, wheras North Korea was in total stygian darkness. Not even a pinprick of light. Nothing is working in that socialist utopia. Nothing!
The ordinary citizens are to be pitied. Poor sods; hungry, brainwashed and governed by a megalomaniac running a personality cult even Mao would have envied.

And you know.....he and his cabinet don't look too skinny......if I was one of "his people" and my children and I were starving.......I think I wouldn't be too happy.......especially since he doesn't seem to be doing a thing to change it.........so how does he keep them from "overtaking the castle" and kicking his large butt and putting someone else in power? I really don't understand that?

Rogue nations always seem to be a problem. It's especially difficult when they have money and a large military (eg: Nazi Germany, Iran, North Korea, Iraq under Saddam). The worst is when they have nukes. Imagine what Hitler would have done if he'd had nuclear bombs.
They're still a pain when they don't have a big military (Zimbabwe, Venezuela under Chavez, Cuba).
