Don't know if any of you have ever seen or hear of Ree Drummond.....her site is The Pioneer Woman.....I'm putting the link to her site and directly to the recipe area....but her whole site is fantastic.....

I have tried several of her recipes.....now most of them are not light or weight watchers by any means.....but OMG....they are fantastic......I think my hubby would run off with her for the food any day of the week!!!

Also.....since I've been reading her site all week....I've made a few more recipes this week.....I made her Au Gratin potatoes.......OMG!!! My hubby actually said that he would eat them if I put them on a car bumper!! He was in love!

I made this recipe and it was very disappointing. The pictures are great but the food did not taste good. Brown sugar was the problem. Sugar of any kind doesn't belong here.

The Pioneer woman is a great photographer and story teller but I don't think much of a cook.

I've never tried that recipe......I hate that it didn't work out well.......

My hubby would be the ideal Pioneer guy....real meat and potatoes type guy so I've tried most of her recipes under that category........and they have been wonderful.

I do love the pics thru the recipe....they are helpful.

She did win a throwdown against Bobby Flay......so she can cook.....maybe that recipe is just off.......
