Well thank you. No-one tried mine. It was The Messenger by Linkin Park. I know yours pumpkin. For Emily, wherever I may find her. Simon and Garfunkel, 1969. I don't like Linkin Park at ALL (based on what I've heard of theirs) so it's not wonder I didn't get this 1.

Has this game changed? The rule has always been that we could not look up the answers ... has it changed? I hope it hasn't! I was 1 of those guilty of this in the past ( ) and hope no one else is doing that also! Thanks Laura. Just checking. You didn't know about that rule, so it was not a big deal.

It would have been a bigger deal if I hadn't quit doing it! In my "drinking years" it wouldn't have bothered me in the least which is DISGUSTING! OK, am glad to hear this as wouldn't want anyone else to screw up like I did before! ;D

It's my fault - or more accurately Vista's fault.
Vista crashed my internet connection and I've only just got it back again.
I'm very sorry!

Walking like a man, hitting like a hammer She's a juvenile scam, never was a quitter Roxette. The look. Thanks to Answers.com. Dear benlomond, 1 of the rules is we're NOT to look up the lyrics. You have to know them on your own without looking anything up. Because of this rule, I'm not going to say if you've got this 1 right or not.

OK. See if anyone can get this one.
Is it any wonder Streets are dark? Is it any wonder We fall apart? Day after day strange rain falls down. Over town. Rains coming.
Hint. Australia. 1983.

Anyway, looking back over this board I can only express admiration for the pop trivia knowledge of other members. I know when I'm beaten!. And no-one has ever looked any of those obscure lyrics up! Wow!!!

I'm still waiting for someone to get MGMT's song right . . is that yet another clue there? Sorry, Riot, who is MGMT and what is his or her song? Please excuse me - I'm away right now without my laptop and only able to post for an hour from a public library!

I suppose for the sake of anyone who doesn't know we are all supposed to either know them or be able to guess them!
