I cannot find the original thread about the gril who denied admittance to her prom but: here is the outcome Constance McMillen is being paid $35,000 in damages from the Fulton, Mississippi school district after they discriminated against her when she wanted to bring her girlfriend to prom. The school district has also agreed to adopt a policy banning discrimination based on sexual orientation. Constance says: "I'm so glad this is all over. But if no student had a prom then none of them can claim that they didn't have a prom due to discrimination. That would require that other students did have one.
