No one who has won the award from January to June is eligible.

You can put forward two candidates (though of course you can only vote for one.)

I'm going to propose Mouse and Bush Admirer.

I agreed to reserve the Los Angeles Angels for Jumbo and they will play the Los Angeles Dodgers next Wednesday, June 23rd at 7:05 US Pacific Coast time! If i notice that any of my honorable mentions have preferences for a certain team i'll reserve that team for them too for the next time, if they don't get the MOTM award.

My other honorable mentions are

3 ) SkyLark
4 ) Octopus

Whoever's quickest can pick either the Los Angeles Dodgers or any other major league baseball team and i'll assign the team that they play to one my other honorable mentions! Of course the 2 winners are my nominations!

SkyLark gets the Colorado Rockies! Octopus and Sadie can choose between the slambaming Boston Red Sox or the artful Los Angeles Dodgers!

Sadie gets the Boston Red Soxs! Good offensive and questionable defense! It should be a good game, but if the Sox start Knuckelball pitcher Tim Wakefield in that thin and dry Denver mountain air the Rockies will be big favorites! Knuckelballs only flutter in hot, moist air! The Sox are probaly a slight favorite, if they use a different starting pitcher, but it's close!



Octopus gets the last available team, which by no means is a bad deal! The Dodgers are a finesse team with excellent pitching and fast base runners! Their rivals from the other side of Los Angeles the LA Angels are free swingers, who believe in following intiution and letting the force be with them. When they're hot they're hot, when not they're not!

I forgot to post the results of Saturday's game between the ROCKIES-2 and ANGELS-4!
One swing of the bat by the Japanese slugger Hideki Matsui went for a grand slam home run! 4 runs at once, which made the difference! Angels won on Saturday!

If it wasn't for Hideki Matsui the Rockies would have likely won! Stay active here and you can reserve the Rockies or any other US major league baseball team, except the Angels, for next month!

That's kind of you Anna, but what if you don't want to vote for me next month? A couple of posts along the lines of "I think England football supporters should have strung up that referee" or advocating forcible hard labour for children of Angels supporters and you might be regretting this.

Well you have the option of reserving a team, if i choose you next month as one of my 4 honorable mentions. True all of us could be outshined by a more active positive contributer to the forum. Other posters can let me know what their favorite or favored teams would be. A 2nd and 3rd pick would help increase the chance of finding match ups between the favored teams of my MOTM candidates!
