Jumbo - Yes there have been some bad corporations. But on balance, I believe we owe our high standard of living, jobs, income, the groceries we eat, the clothes we wear, our houses, our cars, etc. to those same corporations that you demonize.
One of my favorite corporations is Apple. Steve Jobs has been more successful than most entrepreneurs by far. He is, and always was, obsessed with giving his customers the best possible user experience. That was his philosophy when he started Apple, NeXT, and Pixar. It is still his central philosophy today. It's the reason for his success.
IMAX is another of my favorite companies. They've focused on creating the very best user experience at the movies.
I also like Southwest Airlines. They don't run with the pack. They do their own thing. They present the customer with an excellent value proposition.
I'm not aware of any government agencies that have given us much of anything. Certainly nothing on par with Apple, IMAX, or Southwest.

having had health care both privately and through the national health service..... i plump for the national health service every time when it comes to things medical. private wins on the extras..ie quality of private room..the bedding .the ability to have food of choice.. etc etc ,,and of course no waiting around.........you get what you pay for... BUT when it comes to actual care....operations... medical technology / staff availability/medicens ...i will go with the nhs...i suport the nhs 100% and would say to bush dont knock it untill you have tried it

YOU are the one always bitching about government expenditures, yet, you champion dickey boy and his haliburton cronies stealing billions from the taxpayers. to put it in a nice way, as my ancestors used to say, you speak with a forked tongue

that's because the simple, yet irrefutable, FACT is that the majority in "management" are too stupid to do anything constructive. intelligence is NOT a requirement for an mba, and you seldom find one who is The only fact here is that yet again you are confusing 'your opinion' with 'fact'. Sadly, claiming something is irrefutable doesn't make it so. So, either provide empirical evidence to support your 'fact' or, give it a rest old bean. ;D huh uh, it is YOU who are confusing your opinion for fact. FACT is that, by definition, management does nothing constructive in EVERY case. FACT is that EVERY business can successfully operate without management, but NO business can operate without labor. FACT is that a corporate ceo who is proud of the fact that he has never set foot on the assembly line floor is, by definition, stupid. and the list of FACTS go on and on. my opinion is irrelevant. i simply give you reality

Jumbo you're weaving and bobbing once again - dodging the issue - avoiding confrontation - bowing out - quitting without a fight - giving up - surendering.
Now go back and listen to the Michael Savage audio that I posted above and explain to us how it is that he's wrong and his caller is right.
