I've had the cookies covered in chocolate put out by the Duchey of Cornwall and they were yummy Well those are made by Prince Charles himself, so you can bet they're a bit more upmarket than common or garden Cadbury's (which is disgusting). When I first went to Poland they were making excellent chocolate - probably because they just made it out of the proper ingredients and hadn't yet found out how to adulterate it with lots of additives. The only slightly disconcerting thing was that the labels were decorated with images of jolly black women of a sort you don't see in Western Europe any more.

It's said that women love chocolate in a different way than men do so I suppose it's no surprise that the answers have all been from women so far! I.... oh I just love chocolate. There's no use trying to pretend otherwise. Cheffy, I think that European chocolate is far, far nicer than American chocolate in general. I don't know why America doesn't do great chocolate - apart from their Reese's Cups and Peanut Butter M&Ms which are shamefully delicious - guilty pleasure. Lindt Lindor is gorgeous! Here's another good choice -- for truffles: www.leonidas-chocolate.com/ Leonidas. Always a good present and nicer than all its competitors by far. chocolate is my drug. It feeds my soul.
