not to feel bad. this was last week, and we've now had three more days of snow in a row.

Now you see what I was whining about last week. We still have snow piled up every which way from the plows and snow blowers, but no more forecast that I know of. botheration and blast indeed But, the stores are filled with easter bunnys and candy eggs now - bitter cold though it may be. They know a money making holiday isn't far off and cold be d*mned, they're ready for it.

i doubt i would be looking forward to tornados either...mind you take care at least we know they're coming before they get here, unlike earthquakes in california. in the three years i've been back here, the closest one to me was four miles. i've still seen the rain going up though because of the straightline winds on the outside of it

I kind of like snow on postcards and would like to see it stay there or off in the distant mountains for skiing enthusiasts. After my skiing fiasco at Lake Tahoe, i'll pass on that too!
There has been more snow this year than for years in Germany! They throw tons of salt on the streets and sidewalks here when it snows so you can't wear any good shoes here or they'll be ruined! Just salty slush everywhere now!

here, they salt the interstate and main streets, but not much else. we can't go anywhere for a couple of days since our road is a solid sheet of ice for three miles out to the highway. we went to the store yesterday, and the road was clear, after we slid around in our driveway getting out
