March Member of the Month Nominations

Because February is the shortest month (sorry, Riot!) I'm starting the nomination process early.

Please put forward your candidates for the March Member of the Month award.

Not in the interests of balance but because both have made a lot of good posts, last month I nominated Random Voice.

This month I'm nominating Fretslider.

Let's have some names, please!

This month i'll decide which of the 3 candidates above i'll nominate and vote for based on the outcome of the German football/socceer game between Stuttgart vs Cologne ( spelled Köln in German ) .
My candidates have til next Saturday 3:30PM German time-first come first served- to chose between:
1 ) Stuttgart wins!
2 ) Cologne wins!
3 ) A Tie!

Ties occur more often in European football/socceer than US football, but i think there'll be a winner.

Here's the standings, which show that Stuttgart has played slightly better, but the two teams are pretty evenly matched.

If a German team plays badly during a season the entire team is sent to a lower league and not just the players, who perform badly as in US sports!

I'm using the upcoming football game on Feb. 20 in Cologne, Germany to help me decide who to vote for! Of course Americans call this soccer. It's a pretty evenly matched game and a tie wouldn't surprise me either. Now that Fretslider bet on Stuttgart you and Jumbo-whoever decides first, can choose between Cologne winning and a tie!

Mouse! What's your favorite sport?

I usually pick 3 or 4 honorable mentions for a MOTM nomination and then decide who to nominate and vote for based on the result of some sports event in some country-mostly in the US, but i couldn't decide on basketball or ice hockey, where i'm clueless too!

i dont do sport...use to do walking..climbing..photography..gardening..travel ..sailing..fishing..painting etc etc
now only do gardening..painting and a little photography...the gentle pursuits are now much to my taste
capabilty being reduced

Beth, I don't mind. We haven't had two before but if people want to put forward two choices that's fine.

Of course you can only vote for one of them!

Apart from anything else, if Stuttgart win then that will be three nominations for Fretslider and no other candidates in the field so why not?

June was MOTM in December and so we have to wait til the 6 months has elapsed. Me and you aren't eligible either for the same reason!

Of course Riotgrrl ( February MOTM ), me ( January MOTM ), June ( December MOTM ), Pumpkinette ( November MOTM ), Trubble ( October MOTM ) are for the moment not eligible! My Math is so bad that i honestly don't know if SkyLark ( September MOTM ) is eligible now!
