I will decide my candidate on the outcome of the US football game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints, which will be played on Sunday, January 24 at 5:30 PM Central US Time! I following 3: Jean, June and Jumbo can choose a team or try for a rare tie. Since this game is part of the finals a tie must be decided in overtime. In that case i will nominate whoever chose the tie, regardless of which team wins in overtime!

You three may pick a team or a tie, via posting here or PMing me. First come first served!

well hon, bret finally beat dallas in the playoffs on his fourth try, but, sadly for him, he will still not get to go to the super bowl. it will be the saints, 27-20

Jumbo and Jean! Unless i'm mistaking what i understand as Jumbo remarks about the Saints is a prediction and not a pick. Jean the choice here is between picking the Saints to win or specualting that the game will go into overtime because of a tie. If this wasn't a playoff a tie would be final! As far as the rules go girls play "touch football" and never "tackle football", which guys play and risk injury. I wonder if the gals in Great Britain play touch rugby too.

If i understand correctly neither Jean or Jumbo have decided yet!

I just got a PM from Jumbo picking the Saints! I'm really torn about which team to root for! I have relatives in Minnesota, who are diehard Viking fans! The Saints have that saintly symbol, which adorned the armor of my Patron Saint Joan of Arc!
May the better team win and luck counts too!

The Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints were tied at 28 to 28 at the end of regulation time and the game had to be decided in overtime!! That means a tie for those concerned here!!
