America wasn't out to cancel the kids' debt, just to make repayment more doable. But Republicans oppose needed & normal, and by saying malicious crap to trick people, because they WANT to oppose us somehow THOUGH THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER! Republicans oppose good, and offer the damage of doing so in its place.
Republicans are a pointless destructive evil that needs to be ended.
AND HAVING TWO PARTIES is idiocy!! We NEVER get anything done this way.
It means we are a stupid species which can't even run its own affairs.

That's the most concise accurate explanation you'll find, as to "What's a Republican?"
And as you read, it ain't something to be! It's shameful.
I get consternated & vexed (I've been saving those words since the 19th century) that people DON'T BOTHER to find out about anything themselves, THEY JUST PARROT WHAT THEY HEAR.
And most unfortunately, if one parrots from FUX "News", one parrots hateful propaganda. Exclusively. NO fact at all!

A REPUBLICAN:Kristi Noem defends killing her dog, says people want "leaders who are authentic".
(ie, when you murder your 14 month old pet due to the inconvenience of caring for him, that's authentic republican!)
The South Dakota Republican has been criticized by all sides for boasting of killing of her 14-month-old pet. South Dakota governor and republican vice presidential prospect Kristi Noem has responded to critics outraged over a story she tells in a new memoir about her killing a young dog, an act she called an "unpleasant job that needed to be done." "What I learned from my years of public service, especially leading South Dakota through COVID, is people are looking for leaders who are authentic, willing to learn from the past, and don’t shy away from tough challenges," Noem wrote Sunday on X. "My hope is anyone reading this book will have an understanding that I always work to make the best decisions I can for the people in my life." The best decision for her, in one case, was shooting her 14th-month-old wirehair pointer, "Cricket," because the pup was disobedient on a pheasant hunting trip, "chasing all those birds and having the time of her life." "I hated that dog,” she wrote, adding that Cricket was “untrainable," and “less than worthless … as a hunting dog." Noem also recalled killing a family goat, who she said was "nasty and mean" and loved to chase her children, knocking them down and ruining their clothes. Whatever she intended to demonstrate, the bipartisan backlash swiftly followed the reporting on the anecdote, included in Noem's book, "No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward," which will be released in May. "Anyone who has ever owned a birddog knows how disgusting, lazy and evil this is," said Ryan Busse, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Montana. "Now my blood is boiling," wrote the MAGA influencer Catturd. "Remember, I’m a country boy who lives on a ranch. There’s a huge difference between putting an old horse down who is suffering, than shooting a 14 month dog for being untrainable. But then to plug your book at the end ... I have no words."

April 30, 2024 SALONKristi Noem doubled down on dog-killing to win over MAGA — now her story is backfiring in her face.
South Dakota's governor gets the sadism of Trump supporters, but screws up by saying the quiet parts out loud. Squint hard enough and perhaps one can see how Republican Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota thought it was a winning political move to brag about murdering a puppy. It's the same trolling strategy used by MAGA Republicans like Donald Trump, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas: Say something extremely evil, stupid, or both. Draw the inevitable liberal outrage or mockery. Play the victim, claiming that it's more proof the "elites" hate the common sense working folk of MAGA. Then sit back and watch the dollars and followers roll in. For Noem, however, her tale of shooting her dog Cricket is not working out quite as planned. Sure, she got the predictable outrage and disgust from Democrats. But she also seems to have alienated the very Trump supporters she was trying to impress with her bloodthirsty tale. Fox News let their displeasure be known by doing a round-up story of conservative social media influencers denouncing Noem, often with quite harsh language. "Did she just intentionally end her career?" asked trollish podcaster Tim Poole. Other high-profile right-wingers blasted Noem as an "Absolute Psycho" and called for her to be "criminally charged for animal abuse." Even the notorious right-wing troll Catturd — who has 2.4 million Twitter followers because he acts as vile as his name suggests — drew a line at killing your child's beloved pet.
