I found this particularly interesting. The left often cites Sweden as an example of a smooth working system of socialized medicine. I knew that wasn’t true because I have a Swedish friend who was told to wait months for a CT Scan when he turned up with some symptoms that could have been cancer. He moved to Italy. Just today, another friend sent me this article decrying Sweden’s awful health care. www.thelocal.se/20150127/swedens-health-care-is-a-shame-to-the-countryIf you read that article, you will see that they lambast Sweden but they also tout Finland as a great example of successful socialized medicine. You should also notice that the Sweden article is dated January 2015 so it is four and a half years old. That did arouse my curiosity about Finland so I googled for their medical system. Well it seems that Finland’s entire government resigned in March 2019. Why is that? Failing health care system. Here is that BBC article. www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-47496326So it seems that no matter how hard the left leaning media works at it, they still have difficultly with the age old problem of putting lipstick on a pig.
